IONLOOP Security
Layered protection for IONLOOP ID: device verification, two-factor flows delivered via the documented channels, QR session handoff, and IP/device limiting—including the published cap of five registered devices with removal/rotation rules spelled out on the legacy page.
Mechanisms referenced onsite
Two-factor authentication — Supported through the external Auth integration described on-page (SMS codes to the phone linked to IONLOOP ID, or Auth app pairing with the email tied to your Auth account). Not a claim of bespoke Ionloop crypto; follow the in-product wizard.
QR authorization — Session-only QR payloads (no user data embedded), rotated roughly every 60 seconds, confirmed from an already trusted device.
IP & device limiting — New devices, registrations, or unfamiliar environments require an access key; up to five devices per ID with explicit removal before adding replacements.
